Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (3D) (re-release)
The worst ever Star Wars film is back in cinemas and in 3D! Yoda is no longer a puppet!* There are very few films I would go to the cinema to see for a second time after a bit of retro-fitted 3D and this ain’t Footloose. I can’t even cut this film any slack for having Natalie Portman in the cast because that crazed loon Jar Jar Binks keeps popping up and ruining it all. As far as plot goes… I honestly can’t remember.
*Allow me to shamelessly plug that short video I made (badly) which went a little bit viral.
If only George Lucas had used his meddling for good and simply pixelated any appearance from the overenthusiastic Jar Jar and replaced all of his dialogue with random sound effects. I’ve done one scene for you George, blurring out the blasted Gungan and censoring his words with R2-D2’s bleeps, you’re welcome.

I think you’ll agree that my version is just slightly more watchable.
